VLCC Batillus-what scale??

I'm working on my first new design for a while, the Supertanker Batillus. This thing was huge, about 1360 feet long and 200' wide. So the question is, will you buy it and, more importantly, what scale??

For reference, here are some dimensions

1/400: 3' x 6"
1/300: 4' 3"x 9"
1/250 5' 6"x10.5"
1/200 6' 9"x1'

Re: VLCC Batillus-what scale??

I voted for the 1/400 otherwise it will turn some people off. However also keep in mind that its easier to scale down than up. Main problem with that large is printing off the huge hull parts and not getting a billion seams

I also think 1/400. Even at that scale it wouldn't fit in my house.

Re: VLCC Batillus-what scale??

I'm thinking of "compromising" and doing 1/250 scale. Or maybe doing two versions, one in 1/300 and one in 1/200? We shall see...

Re: VLCC Batillus-what scale??

Alright-here's the deal-if it's in 1/200, will it be the largest cardmodel of all time??? :P Or is there something bigger???? Because if it will be the biggest, I CANNOT resist!!

It would be the biggest thing that I've heard of kit wise.

well 1 point to consider. berry's Tarawa looks really awsome. i wont be buying it because it is simply too big. you might want to make a smaller one as well to reach a larger range of people.
