Fuselage B for a Fiddler

I'd like to see someone make a fuselage conversion for the Fiddlers Green B-29 so we can build a B-367/77 Strato-cruiser or KC-97 tanker/freighter.
Now that would be cool!

I know /I know you're thinking Art design one yourself...lol. Well I'm kinda' busy making modern airliners....

I've been thinking about that one myself. having had a lot of time up close and personal with both aircraft, there are some differences between the two. But, keeping in line with the FG "artistic" approach, it might be able to be pulled off. Really, you might be able to just take the fuselage rings for the b-29 and cut them in half. That would give you some resemblance of the lower fuselage of the C-97. I don't know for sure. Something to be played with though.

I love the B-377...looks like the Oscar-Mayer Weinermobile...lol. The original right whale of the skies...heck if worse comes to worse, I may double scale the B-29/ mount a 2 ltr. popbottle on top cut off the neck/cone the tail...paint 'er silver and call 'er done...hee-hee...

Great idea in cutting the fuse rings in half Willygoat...you and I think alike...

If you're just playing with the idea right now, go for it. If and when you get something that's more concrete and near finished, that's when you'd get a hold of Chip and see what his thoughts are.

A KC-97 would be cool, think of having one of those hanging from the ceiling with a flight of F-100's waiting to tank.........

Thumbs up And a Super Guppy too

When you are done with your Strato Cruiser, Go for the Super Guppy conversion. The early Guppy looks interesting as well.

Have fun

I know that Avery started a KC-97 design quite a while ago, but if any one is interested, I have a large collection of photos from the one here. I gave Avery the set and I'll give it to whom ever. The sooner we have a KC-97 available, the better!
