Think Austrailian..................now................." A Dingo Ate my Baby".............. Sorry, every time I hear the word Dingo, that comes to mind. There was a movie pushed in the states so hard and long that phrase has a dedicated set of neurons formed in my Brain. Those open top ones look nice, I would like one just to drive around in. Not in battle though, just toss a grenade in from behind a bush. |

I discovered this long dormant discussion earlier today. Since I know about two recently published free Ferret models, I tried to sent Kevin a PM. This did not work.
Herewith the links: The first is a very basic Mk.1 in 1/87 scale that can be found at - Log into Facebook The second is a more substantial model of a Mk.2 in 1/35 scale. You can download it from - AB Papercraft: 1/35 Ferret Armoured Car Papermodel Hope this is of some assistance. Sepp |

Sepp...Kevin passed away a while back.
Kevin bugged me a lot about doing a Ferret (after I released the Saladin). We have a Ferret in the local Museum at the CFB Borden. I have a few photos of it (one below). There is no turret, just open cockpit. Its not something that really interested me, but if there still a demand for it, I might add it to the never-ending pile of things to design.

No shortage of Ferret versions. The Australian Army were big Ferret users.
The Australian Army Base at Enoggera has a number of Ferrets parked outside admin buildings. The attached one (a Mark II) is in a museum at Meandarra. Regards, Charlie |

I must make this !
I took my driving test in one of them! The engine and exhaust system were perfect for drying big coats. The radiators sit on top of the engine and the exhaust pipes also come out on top. I could lay a coat over the radiators and aim the exhaust gasses down the sleeves! Cheers Mike |
