Fantasy Models

I have seen so many Sci-Fi models. How about some Fantasy ones? Since fantasy is the main thing I write, I was hoping to build some models for my office. Other than the occasional Chinese dragon, I haven't found any. I would love some fairies to hang from the ceiling, maybe some giants, elves, ogres, trolls, things like that.

I've sort-of looked onto designing my own. I have a deep appreciation and respect for those of you who can design models. It is hard! Maybe in a few years I'll learn enough to be able to do it.

I just got this elf kit on a trade from someone on Zealot. I'm not that young, but I think it may be from a video game. I agree, some fantasy stuff would be great, I'm not much into sci-fi, but I've always liked fantasy.

Check out Smok....Paper model store has it for $3.99. Go to www.papermodelstore.com and select Halinski in the "Manufacturers" pulldown on the left side of the page. The name of the movie (actually, a TV miniseries) it is from escapes me, but it is one cool dragon.

You might consider outersketcher's kolywopter in that category of crossover between fantasy, science fiction, and aeronautical engineering.

Kolywopter

Hi Susie,

My website has almost all fantasy (such as my life) though maybe not exactly what you were looking for, however, if you try my paper model search engine, you may pull some interesting or related results.
Also there is a links page which will lead you to 100+ paper model websites, some for sale but mostly free.
Happy hunting!
