1946 cj-2a

Dear Designers:
Working in a Nursing home you end up with some strange conversations sometimes, Had one about cowboys and ended up with ROY RODGERS> see where I'm going following are pictures of Nellybelle from the TV series Sure would make a nice model any where from Kool Wheels scale up to 1/25 scale. AirDave hint hint or any one else. I tried a google search for a paper model of it and found nothing, if there is one out there please let us know. Her are some pictures to help out the Design process

Thanks,
MILES

Somewhere out there is a paper model of Daisy Duke's CJ Jeep. Possibly it was one of the Webdude's creations? I know I've got a copy of it on the Archive HDD that I'm awaiting return from resurrection. I've got the CD back ups, but the 'Cars' folder seems to be missing. Daisy's Dixie is a later model than Roy's Nellybelle, and it has the bigger front wings. Shouldn't be too hard to trim up the wings and add Roy's hand made upper body work though.

Although a vastly superior post-war remodel of the Jeep, the CJ just doesn't have the WW2 heritage of it's MB for-runner, so it is somewhat neglected in the modelling world. In the real world too for that matter, especially in Europe, where Hotchkiss continued to make the MB under licence well into the 70's, so very few CJ models found their way across the pond, other than those used by the US Army in Germany.

If anyone else has a reference to the Dixie model, please post a link to it if it is still available.

Johnny.

Ah, so like his 'Cool-Wheels' models, it's probably dropped off his website.

I've got them all on my wayward archive HDD though. It's been fixed, so hopefully the postman will deliver it soon. without wanging it through any scanners.

Johnny.

why would it be "dropped off" my website?

and the Daisy Jeep is just a redesign of my original Willys Jeep models.
Either of those would be the ones (I) would modify into Nellybelle.
