haha this is too funny, but an excellent idea.
...and good answer choices too!
I appreciate the support!

By all means, please, cast a vote...I would love to see the response.

But to be very honest, this project is a distinct possibility
...but its way down on the to-do list.
This is one of those projects that is done for fun, but motivated by potential sales.
So the question of "would anyone buy this kit" is an important one.

Poll away!
Dave

I would spend the money on a C-47 tail end to match the alan rose dc-3/c-47 before i would spend it on a c-130...just saying!

Good point.
But I think there is a tail end for the DC3 already produced...isn't there?
DC-3 1:30 The rear of Alan Rose's beautiful 'trophy.'
does it include the rear half of the Wings though?

Hey Dave i know we have talked on this before and if you were to do it i appreciate its way down on your list.Just wanted to see if the only one interested or if folks would actually buy this kit.Hey im doing your sales work for you.The reason i mentioned ecards on poll is i know thats where you sell your models and for us living in the back of beyond its a far more economical way of purchashing your work
cheers

Dave, those links dont work any more, lead to a web hosting site??? The Herk is a awesome bird, worthy of any endeavor. The modern C-47 if you will! Theres a very good reason most goverments friendly to the US have them!!!

Looks like the models on Bob's site have been recently updated.
But the links for the files are no good.
Not sure what is going on there...try sending Bob an email maybe?

Maybe the same size--not the same scale (good grief!). At the same scale, the Herky model would have a 9-foot wingspan! Who has room to display a model that size?

I would rather see more variants for the DC-3 - as in C-47 and AC-47.
