Norden bombsight available

I've always wanted a Norden Bombsight.......a real one, with the Compensation base unit.

However, they are very expensive, even in bad condition.

Anyone know of a card model that exists? Or anyone interested in designing one? Just the external parts, not the interior. Or if your insane, the interior is fine too.

Section 6 might have enough information for a model designer.

Should make for a great model. Hopefully someone will take up the challenge. Of course you know it must be covered at all times except during actual use, and photographs must NEVER EVER be taken of it lest you be shipped off to the Aleutian Islands for the rest of the War.

Man, now I know where all my time goes. Great links, I was up for hours researching this. Quite interesting, now I know more than I ever thought possible about a subject that I never thought I wouild have had an interest in.
