S O E Lysander, "Lizzy"
Anyone know if there is one of these in paper? It is the plane the British SOE used to drop agents and supplies into occupied Europe during WW2. I like the black one, but any will do. If one is out there, I am sure that some one on this site will know about it.

Thanks Chris.
I was hoping for a down loadable model, but I may have to check these out. I have never done a pre-printed kit yet, may be its time. |

Here's three Lysanders;
The back one is the Maly Modelarz kit, which is a good kit. The foreground one is Super Model's kit, not a good kit, but simple. The smaller one on the left is Marek's 1:50 scale kit, which isn't bad, but instructions are lacking and there's no interior. I finally tracked down an affordable kit of the older Maly Modelarz kit which looks a bit crude. There's also one by a company called Models in Erdve or something like that. Haven't seen that one yet, still tracking one down! Chris |

CT: Chris Gutzmer offers a Marek Lysander, which Chris Walas built recently: Marek Marathon; 1:50 Westland Lysander
Also check out Chris's superb build of an old Mały Lysander that he transformed for the Old Troll contest last year. The thread contains a lot of good reference information: OTDAEABT Contest - Maly Modelarz Westland Lysander Mk II And here is tonid's build: Westland Lysander Mk II (Mały Modelarz 12/97) Leif Ohlsson also built a 1/25 Lysander with an electric motor (Post #3): Electric Motors - attn. Lief Don PS: I see that Chris posted while I was dithering. |
