An AH-1F Cobra Pleeeeeeeease?

I have looked around and I'm a No-Go at this station.

Now you can buy a plastic model and go from there, but it really seems like these paper models are much more personal and a labor of love.

If anyone has a nice print of an AH-1F sitting around, that would be much appreciated.

Just to clarify please, the F Model has the flat plate screens, single engine, 20 mm canon on the nose and if possible the blades are tapered instead of the square tips. Those are the 747 upgrade to the B-540 square tip blades that made the popping sound. Instead the 747's taper makes it quiet and reduces the popping substantially.

The only Cobra I've seen is the Maly kit, which is pretty old and the AH-1S (9 / 2001 kit). Though, there are probably others.

Gharbad, thanx for that info too except that model has 4 rocket launcher pods, I'm used to the "lite rocket/lite TOW Missile" config. I might try to modify the lite tow and go with a standard 8 TOW missile config by adding 2 more to each outer rack.

I used to fly these things in Germany back in the early 80's. All the way from the Modified "S", (G model with TOW missiles basically), up to the ECAS (Flat windscreens & 20mm), then the fully Modernized "S", with the Kaman blades (tapered), 20mm, TOW, Inertia Nav... There seems to be hoards of "W" model Cobras ,(US Marine version w/twin engine), but no S models. Ever since the Apache came along, everyone has ignored the good ole AH1. So I am looking for the "S" or "F" as they look the same, in a digital format so I can print off on 13x19 stock. If I wanted small scale, I could by the plastic ones in 1/72 and 1/48. So any help would be appreciated.

Don’t know if the MMs are the livery (JP?) you’re looking for.

The Paper Model Store here in the States has the KK “F” for a decent price. Paper Model Store
