My error....I said "Cieseleski/Orlik geeBee"
And I meant "Cieseleski/Modelik GeeBee"

I have never seen this "3 version Disney Special Edition" but I really want to!
I must have it!

There is a Model out there of the Gee Bee Z, it was done by Modelik in 1:33 scale. I
Believe it was a Disney Special edition because it had 3 versions in the folder, Two yellow
with different serial numbers and racing number and one white and black. also I think this was done also by Cieseleski the guy who made the R1. Tracking a copy down is tough since this is a Polish model. I'll Keep a Lookout for it
Thanks Asroc

There is one and only one moment you can see whats on the cowling of that plane.
The dice appear to have been replaced with a portrait of jenny,
but the cloverleaf artwork may be the same..
The noseart makes little sense to me, since they make no effort to show it to you in the film.
And its odd that nobody notices it until the plane is given to Cliff.
Neither Cliff or Jenny acknowledge the noseart at any time.
And why would Howard Hughes pick the noseart anyway...isn't that a personal thing?
Howard Hughes would understand that.
I only know of one plane built for the movie and its back in the yellow and black paint scheme,
so other than film caps, you may not find any other photos of the second paint scheme.
Thanks AirDave
I found a photo online that looks like the "Lady Luck" photo Clif has in his cockpit. I've read several places that is the pose of the "nose art". I can guess at the type font for the lettering and I'll try to create the art in Photoshop and see how it looks. I'm like you it never made any sense to me either why Howard put it on the plane except he knew what Clif went through to get Jenny back.
