1812 Schooner?
There was a nice Lindberg 1812 Sandpiper schooner, when I was a wee lad.
Has anyone ever made a similar era two master? I know a previous thread offered a schooner [Schooner Isolde]: Schooner Isolde but it no longer appears enabled and I haven't found anything similar to this favorite of privateers and merchants of the era. Have I missed one? Thanks!

Don't know any 1812 schooner in paper.
Shipyard has a model of an older (around 1780) topsail schooner, the "Berbice". WAK offers a mid 19th century schooner "America". Can't say anything about the quality of the kits. Good luck! Hornswoggler |

Both the Shipyard and WAK kits are great, as both are top-tier publishers. I don’t know of any currently published models that are specifically privateers from the 1812 period. WAK is bringing out a model of a Royal Navy combat brig from the Revolutionary era that could probably be re-worked into something close to your preference. There are also the smaller wargaming kits from Jeff Knudsen (War Artisan).

Yea, you're right. To get thesis I want I'll have to either scratch build or but an old plastic kit! I did get some good tips from modeling' pals though. The Isolda: S/V Isolda, Göteborg She's fifty years off but looks like a nice kit. Hope someone find this useful. I was also told about this one, the America: Fly Model Nr 11 SBD1 Dauntless - American dive bomber deck She's a hundred years difference but looks like a nice kit to share. Hope it finds an interested builder. I might kit bash from these?
