i was getting stuff together for an Ohio. but i rather like the shape of the Lafayette. so im thinking of starting that after the seawolf.

Well if/when you do be sure to include the USS John Adams SSBN 620 as one of the nameplates. A friend of mine served on her and I want to hook him up. He would also like to post it on the boat's website if thats ok.

id like to but i havnt found any good line drawings or blueprints yet. or a good full side shot that id feel comfortable using as a template.

I'll see what I can come up with. There's lots out there on these boats now that they've been decommissioned and scrapped.

Trent, check out these photos of the Daniel Boone, which was an Ethan Allen class (basically a Lafayette with later missile tubes and fire control):

Might be of some help with textures? Especially that stern view in drydock; 8th one down. This website has photos on virtually every ship ever commissioned into the USN, so searches on other Lafayette/Ethan Allen-class boats will yield more.

Like Sidewinder, I've a friend who served on one of these ships, in his case, the Daniel Boone. I'd like to build him a replica for his den.
