Jet Blue Blueprint Livery?
I have a request for a model of the Jet Blue Blueprint livery.
I must say it is quite attractive. Has anyone started or tried or completed one? TIA al |

That is a neat livery.

No promises, but let me see what I can do.
Edit: I still have the Rhino file for my E-175. Things just got a lot easier. |

As an FYI, the Jet Blue aircraft is an Embraer 190. Longer fuselage and different engine nacelles, but very similar to the EMB 170/175 so a repaint of an EMB-175 will do the job for most casual observers. Isaac

I planned on stretching the fuselage to a 190. Unless there's a drastic difference between the engines (P&W VS Rolls), I'll leave them alone.

Awesome! One challenge I see right away is that near the top of the fuselage, the drawing seem to be distorted, so that when seen from a 'normal' perspective they look 'right.' Gimp allows distortion, but only on a linear basis, to go around a circular fuselage looks to be more complicated. The Jet Blue site does show some of the components that make up the design. (I tried to attach the picture, but I am at work and attachments are apparently forbidden).

I just wanted to point it out. Have fun I may build it later on since I was working both engine programs for these planes while at GE. Isaac

That is very cool. Nothing like having worked on an engine design to forge a connection to all planes depending on that engine. |
