Stinson Reliant?
Hi, Wonderful site. Has anyone put out a Stinson Reliant? I know Fiddler's Green shows one started, but that's been a few years now.
My Dad had one back in the late '40s and it's such a beautiful ship. |

That would be my 1:72 Stinson SR5 kitbashed from the DeHavilland Beaver designed by Jim Gausman. Supposed to be an SR3, but the final proportions better match the SR5. The Fiddler's Green prototype looks like an SR9.
There are 3 versions in my aviation/civilian/prop/Stinson SR5 folder including USCG, RAF and my INAEC 1930s Philippine air taxi (in NP-C US registry) which inspired the whole thing. There is an additional version in my aviation/civilian/Civil Air Patrol aircraft/ folder. For a build thread do a forum search for Tim Crowe, who did the alpha build and a brilliant job of helping debug the model! Welcome to the forum(and hobby?)! |

Thank you Gentlemen, I guess I should have specified, I am looking for a later Mark Reliant such as an SR 10, AT-19 or specifically a V-77 like my father use to have.
