Unfolding mainly done.
For now I've got 20 A4 for carcas, 24 for silver paper and 4 for white paper. It seems I'll hit 50+ pages on this project. Not sure that there is somebody who'd like to buy such a monster. ) |

Great to see this still developing...I think you may be surprised how many will buy it when it's ready but there may be more that would purchase a downloadable version and employ their own solutions for the silver surfaces...

Lots of pages.
I would be interested as well. However on the practical side, I will have to wait until I retire to do this plane with all the details and pages.
A comparison model should be the new B-2 bomber kit in 1/33 scale as well as the TU-160 kit. All have lots of pre-printed pages. So if they are selling, then the Tu-22 blinder kit you have may be OK commercially as well. Not sure how you fit the wings on A4 paper size even at sections and still look OK? May want to have a kit printed on larger paper size ( this way you can also minimize pirates ). Best of luck Isaac

Thank you all for the kind words!
It's developing in A4 just because of my printer. I have to make model in paper before I'll go to publisher. I'd like to say "good luck" for the pirates on this, especially if we publish with silver paper or color. BTW - the missile above will fit in bomb-bay of plane and it is created with same paper and technology as the plane itself. Wing is separated in several parts according original lines to fit to A4, but yeah there a lot of really huge parts which takes almost whole A4 sheet. The main problem at the moment - is main gears. I'm going to create it using only one metal part to avoid soldering, with one real and three "fake" wheels. From other hand - I'm not sure if one wheel made from cardboard will handle the weight of model. Practice will say. Small spoiler: Once I've done with this - I'm going to create few small conversion-kits with parts for other modification such as reconnaissance, jamming and regular bomber with different bomb-load. JATO-boosters is also in plans. Stay tuned. |

I would love to build this model, the Tu-22 is such a cool looking plane, no other like it.
Now if my wife will let me have one that big? I'll hide it in somewhere....Rich
