Hi there.
Sorry to say, but I have to make a short break in this project. I'm working on it every day since 1 January and it seems I'm bit tired of this. I can see that I'm making more and more mistakes (you can see this on last photos) and this mistakes making me more and more nervous. Computer-designed model left no room for mistakes - once you shift panel for 1mm - you got the 1mm hole on the other side. As I said before - silver paper I have is very delicate and I have ugly joints as if I didn't try at all. Sure I can set the light properly and make cool-looking photos but I still know where should I look to see the mistakes. So I have to have some time with something else. Some Warhammer 40K miniature or PC-gaming. But don't worry, project is not abandoned. Probably tommorow I'll change my mind and will rush back to table. But for today I'm done, this for sure. So, stay tuned, will be back soon. |

I can understand your feelings about the mistakes, which modeler can't? ;-). But I assure you, I have not seen a single mistake in your pictures, so they can't be bad! Have fun!

must have felt as you do while working on the Sistine Chapel; my point is you are doing art - without a doubt - which means effort akin to giving birth (hopefully, without the pain!)
The fact that you use a computer, printer and paper does not lessen the 'burden' of your muse or the wonder of your creation. Your work, like that of so many of the other artists sharing here, is why I keep coming back to be amazed and to be inspired. Thank you.

That's it, end of vacation! Going back to Tu.
This is what takes me 3 week to build. Bike maked from one of "Dark Angels Bike Squad" kit, plus bits from Dreadnought and other stuff. Here is the pic to compare my bike and original Dark Angel, and the lighter. Here is tons of additional pics. -->> Дорожные былицы - дневник |
