Could you please send me a link to the finished version in a private message?

I won't redistribute without the prior approval of the author. In this case, it is clear to me that the author of the work is Tony Denton, rather than the person who uploaded it to the Polish site. That said, if he declines my request to distribute, I will accede, and only use the modification of the potentially pirated file (I don't know if he passed permission on to the polish site) for personal use. I've attempted to contact him in the one place he appears to frequent, which is the X-Wing Alliance Upgrade forum.
If you are desperate for an A-wing model, the one on the Paper-Replika site is a perfectly usable alternative. Sean |

That did not take too long; Tony has replied and acceded to the request to post his model in a form intended for paper modeling. His site can be found here. I've posted the model in the downloads section (in the moderation queue). It is in .pdo format and currently unlined. Adding lines should be easy through the interface. All parts are labeled, and generally grouped with parts they assemble with. The page for the guns will have to be printed twice (rotated page to save paper).
Please let me know if you have any problems with the build; I've taken a close look at all of the components and I have a fairly clear idea of how to assemble it. I'll be building my own sometime in the coming month. Enjoy! Sean |

It is a very good model, the textures are top-notch; I've mine printed, just waiting for me to finish some other projects.
Post pics if you can once done! |
