.50 Cal Machine gun

Hey all, I'm looking to build my Halinski Hellcat with the gun bays open, and I need some machine guns in there. Would anyone be willing to design a set of them? They would need to be in 1/32-1/33 scale, and detailed works pretty well.

Thanks!

Really not much to them, just a long tube and rectangular box. You could probably scratch something fairly easily. At that scale, M2's aren't that big to begin with, so detail would be pretty basic. These are the ones I made from the Orlik kit (punching out cooling jacket holes optional ):

Not a lot of detail, but still convincing.

Here's a reference if you need it:

thanks mike! Looking at the gun bays, there really isn't much to show, but I did want to have it connected, (I.E. the gun barrels that you can see in the bay poking out of the ports) so, I'm going to work on that after I finish the -5N.

There is a paper Browning 50 cal MG on this page:

The model is quite large and must be at least 1/32 scale if not larger.

To make .50-cal barrels in 1/33 scale, I roll the printed jackets around 1/32" aluminum tubing. The inside diameter is close to a scale 1/2" and the outside diameter is not too large to look wrong. The color is right and the cut end of the tube forms a nice, realistic-looking gun muzzle.
