Ryan, I checked. The 3view I have of the Cessna does not have any formers on the drawing. As a matter of fact, I think it is the same one you have in a post above.

Actually it is a set of pretty simple shapes once broken down.
The basic fuselage is just a rectangular section with rounded corners. The bubble canopy is an addition to an otherwise unbroken line on the top of the shape.
The engines are in separate forms best treated as over-sized wing fairings, and the wings themselves are simple tapered shapes.

Approach it as three separate forms, instead of one convoluted one and it's not that bad.

If you simplify it a bit, sure, but if you want it to look accurate, no. The fuselage is more accurately a cross section of several different oval shapes that vary. I used to see them every day over my house!

OK, perhaps I oversimplified my simplification, but he concept still stands. If broken down into it's component parts, there is still a typically Cessna cross section fuselage, the engines are 'tacked on' externally and faired over and the wings are just straight tapers.

I don't mean to imply that crudity is called for, just that viewing it in the same way the original was designed turns a complex and unusual shape into a much easier and approachable project.

I've got a 1/72 pl@$t!c model that I've been looking at a bit for shape help. There are actually more straight lines than I guess I implied, but it's not going to be easy to get the curves looking good on the Tweet.

A-37 Dragonfly top voted at Thaipaperwok

If you review at Thaipaperwork page in the What do you want?? section you find that A-37 is the most voted item, would be interesting to know when Nobi start to design this most wanted item

Nobi - has been out of commission for a bit due to personal reasons but he plans on beginning design again in the near future

Certainly are plenty of paint schemes possible on the A/T-37 to keep those guys happy churning out different versions....
