Making Models out of Microsoft's Flight Sim Aircraft

Hey guys, some here may have attempted it, but do you have any software and/or methods to turn MSFS aircraft to card models?

with a wealth of freebie aircraft available, possible subjects can be endless...

As for me, I just need a quick method of having a card model of the King Air 350 for training purposes...

Any help will be very much appreciated

Thanks guys!

UMC2 in the downloads area can read some MSFS .mdl files and output them in .mqo format which you can then pass into Pepakura.

It doesn't work on all models unfortunately but there are sometimes some subtleties that can be got around. Can you send me a link to the model you are trying please?

Hmmm Options->Old mdl read selection produces a lot of parts from the 2002 model. We can re-assemble the model - see the program notes. It's a bit of a challenge. Alternatively find another FS model that is older and simpler. Im sure I've seen an FS98/2000 model. There is a king air in the YSFlight pack on this site Taskforce 58's YSFlight Hangar that looks a good starter.

I figured sir, you are correct, maybe the 2002 and 2004 versions are a bit too much... FS2000 does have the 350 included, but I don't have a copy...

I'll try the King Air 200 from the YSFlight, it does look like a good starter...

I'll try to have the FS2000 350, but it will be a long shot...

Thanks again sir!

Have you had a look on here Microsoft® Flight Simulator Downloads Add-ons - SurClaro I've just had a quick look, can't find a king air.

Edit: actually this site isn't as good as it was a few years ago. I have got cd's with a lot of aircraft from 98 and 2000, I'll have a look in a while for you.
