Xb-35/yb-49

Is it possible these models are in our future?

If I may, Mr Pilsworth, would you consider these?

Here's hoping!

I second that Ray! The world can't have enough x-plane models.

I second that.
A XB-35 or a YB-49 of Gary, would be the desire of paper modelers.

PaperTrade in the Netherlands do one in 1/50 - haven't seen it myself but have seen some of their other models and they look pretty good...would like to get my hands on their Fokker G-1...scroll almost to the bottom of the linked page for the Papertrade models...

Papertrade published a beautiful metallic printed model (I 've build it) it lacks interiour but still it had very nice features like a retractable landing-gear

I don't tend to get too excited about lots of these "what if" conversations BUT a XB-35 or a YB-49 would be very welcome for my part.

Please, pretty please.......... a version with "simulated" NMF would suit me just fine....... If done well, simulated NMF is actually very nice looking. John Dell has done some excellent SIM-NMF in my opinion. His Model 299 and some of his P-51's are what I'm talking about.

Thanks,
SFX

I thought it might be part of your collection, Billy, I'm quite tempted by it (once i complete a model and am thus allowed to buy some more!)...I'm sweet with the lack of interior detail as I have the AMT one in 1/72 and can use those details as guides for paper ones in 1/50 - does the Papertrade model have any bombaby detail or just the landing gear?
