There were more Vincent Rapides built than Black Shadows - amazing bikes to ride though. Virtually every innovation in the Vincents has turned up in one form or other in modern bikes (except for the front suspension).

Regards,

Charlie

SO lets rekindle and old thread.....

It's been a few months :D but I have "not" abandoned this project. I started my initial build a few days ago. After assembling the engine, frame, gas tank and rear wheel the only problem area was the wheel. I have made corrections and will have some photos for you all tomorrow. (BTW, IMHO, it is SWEET!):D:D:D

Pictures there were promised and pictures there shall be:

The seat assembly will be glued after the exhaust is completed.
The changes I made to the rear tire assembly have been integrated to the front tire.

The build continues..........:D

Thanks everyone!

Billy: It's a pure fantasy concept. There 'are' hubless motorcycles being built but none yet that would incorporate the type of gear drive/wheel support this one does.

I've finished the rear wheel, fender and taillight along with the forward controls and footpegs. Hope to have the handlebars done by mid week (Putting off the exhaust - ugh....flashbacks of the Turbo Terrific... Classic Cartoons -* Hanna Barberas' Wacky Races - Car 9 - The Turbo Terrific - Free Papercaft (Paper Models) by The Webdude :D)

More photos soon...........
