Ok, the frame is done! The fitting for couple of spacer are a little tight at the bow and aft, but nothing major. For the hull. I should work in two sections, bow to mid, and aft. I worked from aft to mid and that gave me some trouble sliding the frame into the hull. Still got more little detail to glue on the underside, I'll just save that for next time.

This is embarrassing. This is by far my worst glue job ever. What a mass........ If only I could reprint all new hull parts and start over I would. What a mess...... shame. Please excuse me, I need to go find some rock to hind under and reflect on my major malfunctions on the glue job.

Worst? Really...

you must be kidding! Of course, the computer image may not clearly show what you are saying, but on screen it looks quite good to me. Really like the 'box' frame, great idea.

All the under details done. Well, almost, still need to do the rudder, diving planes and propellers. But I think I should do the deck first so I don't break those parts off.

Just look at my glue job! Oh, the humanity! Once I accidentally drop glue on top off the aft. I stop worry about cleanliness and thing just goes to hell from there on. I keep telling myself it is just a beta test..... just a best test.........(crying in a fetal position)

Just a beta version. Go outside, find a rusty piece of metal, scrap off the rust into some clear coat, and weather it, it'll look fine and weathered! Looks good so far, you have another winner on your hands!

Allen, your designs are a fine work, and your builds are equally outstanding (even if they are betas and have some minor issues). Seeing this submarine being born in your hands (all from the design stages) is a nice thing. And now witnessing the building process is a delightful experience.

I have always feared all kinds of water vehicles because they look incredibly difficult. But in your hands, this submarine is looking wonderful and inspiring.

Great work!! I’m eager to see it finished

Couple problems with the deck frame. I missing # 6 spacer! Where it goes? !? I didn't unfold it!? !? Think maybe the way those spacer goes together is too complicated and I forgot to factor in the paper thickness on the spacers too. Maybe I should go back to the drawing board. But that old printer in the office is down again. Oh well, move forward with what I got I guess.

And thank you very much, guys.
