The next section, smoke stack and forward hangers, has not unfolded well. So it was back to Meta for some small adjustments.

Well, the small adjustments turned into a re-model of the whole area. I've had to compromise on the shape of some parts but they do unfold much easier.

Cheers JTF

Great to see this one pop up again.

Nice work JT. Been through the re-design to get it to unfold thing myself a few times. Your re-model hasn't done any harm to the visuals. Good job at 1:600.

Unfortunately this has come to a stop.

At 1/600 scale the detail I've put into the 3D model has not transposed well into 2D paper. To many folds and cut over a very small areas.

I'm going to take a small break from this project, do a few planes and then come back to it fresh and hopefully model this magnificent ship in a simpler fashion.

The plan is to make it available though ecardmodels.com when completed.

Cheers JTF
