Absolutely gorgeous!!! Your attention to details (both 3d and 2d) is superb-not to mention the way the parts seem to flow together so smoothly. Excellent. BTW I'd like to humbly second Dlazarus6660's suggestion of Northwest's livery. Particularily, the old Northwest Orient scheme with bare metal fuselage, blue stripe, white name board with red letters and red tail version if you are so inclined.

I am a native of MN, the former HQ of this now-defunct airline, and I have fond memories. Thanks for the show. I look forward to seeing it all come together. Greetings from Minneapolis, MN.

Oops! My mistake! Dlazarus6660 was advocating for the NorthEAST paint scheme, not the NorthWEST. I guess I should read more carefully. Both schemes are beautiful in my opinion. Heck, I say both are a good option. (...and there I lay, tucked up in my bed with visions of DC-9s dancing round in my head)

Wings Attached

Here are a couple of shots of the DC-9's wings, attached to the fuselage. Next will come the wing fillets...

Thanks for all of your support and suggestions!

I always thought that the blue and white Easternj color scheme was one of the best.

Ozark colors maybe?

If ever there was a regional airline known for flying the dc-9 it was this one. . .any chance you could provide THIS scheme as an alternate version to the EAL?

Personal note: this was my hometown's mainliner and headquartered there until TWA bought them. :-(
btw, great looking model. You have a customer. . .

I'd buy the Ozark too. This was actually my first airplane ride when I was about 9 years old. Rochester, MN to Moline, Il. Thanks for the pics, cbg.

Air Canada

I'll echo the others and say this model is looking gorgeous Sumato. I want to do a repaint in Air Canada colors. I saw many of these flying in and out of my home town of Windsor Ontario when I was a kid. I was looking around on the net and found three or four different Air Canada color schemes used on them. I might have to do them all.
