I'm with Dan on this. If anyone has the secret of rolling curves into previously glued laminated paper without crinkling, please let me know.

I'm actually getting close to having the wing center section ready for a test build as well as the fuselage that goes inbetween. Here are some of the parts I have laid out. Note the shape of the main wing spar. I'm going for accuracy here and that nice curved shape. Hope it works out well

This in-progress photo of the layout is very interesting, Will. Glad to see that work continues.

Thanks, I'm trying to duplicate the actual I beam construction of the main spar and I'm hoping I don't end up with a really big flat area where the skin goes over it.

Well it's been pretty busy at work but I've been managing to get some work done on this project and have 8 pages of parts laid out. Hopefully I can get at least some of it ready for a test build soon, and hopefully Rick is still up for a test build.

I'm up for it! I've been in a doldrums lately, for several reasons. The Wright Flyer I was working on is just not motivating me right now, and work has been quite hectic.

But I think something like this would be just the jolt to get me going again. Bring it on!

I for one would really like to see your build on this one, your "super" build was awsome.

A day later than I had hoped (I had to move a rib and redesign all affected parts) but the first batch of parts should be in Ricks email. He should be able to build everything I sent in one night so hopefully he'll be able to post some pics soon (and understand my extremely limited instructions).
