Your Otters are very nice. I like the turbo upgrade. In one of the photos you were using a stainless steel adjustable tweezers. Do you know the actual name and where you found these? Great job and photographing them in the snow was a great idea. Thanks for sharing. wc

Hi Miles! I have sent a lot of models through the mail with varying degrees of success.

I found that if I used dunnage that it needed to be more fragile than the model. That is the packing peanuts arrived in fine shape because the model was sacrificed to protect them.

Another problem that I have encountered is: when send models internationally, the customs people open the box and then not repacked with the same care that I use. The result is a wrecked model.

I have used the rubber band method several time now and always with great success. I do make sure the model is pretty robust with extra glue.
