Sorry it has been awhile since an update. Work is still progressing on the B-17s. With the nasty weather and being busy at work, things have been hectic. One of the things I have been hung up on is designing a decent looking and easy to build top turret for the B-17G. With many thanks to hawkman67 I finally got something I’m happy with. Swampfox has been doing a test build of the B-17G and he sent me some photos so you can see how it turned out. You’ll also note the model now has turbo chargers. It is always a huge relief when I see someone other than myself is able to put these kits together.

the Paper Modelers at Army Heritage Days event will take place again on 17-18 May, and the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center museum folks will probably bring the 44th Bomb Group B-24 "Princess" (designed by you and built by Kevin Stephens) out of the vault for public display.

Collect all the big band and Glenn Miller records together and get in the mood while cutting out B-17 parts!
