For the North Americans - Rotorua is in an active geothermal area - the whole town smells of hydrogen sulphide (rotten egg gas). The locals don't notice it but visitors certainly do. For the non-chemists - hydrogen sulphide is quite poisonous - I remember that people used to die in Rotorua when sulphide gas leaked into their houses.

Regards,

Charlie

I will not pass up this chance to offer praise to Matt Sparks, of Micromodels, USA for his work in making many of the older and hard to find Micromodels available in affordable and buildable form.
Matt has also helped to realize some of Geoff Heighway's concepts which were never published during his lifetime.
Since its beginning, Micromodels, USA have maintained a high quality of printing and historical accuracy.

(Other than being a satisfied customer, I have no connection to either Matt Sparks or Micromodels, USA)
