To me it looks like one of those Pacific Northwest Native American villages. I've been to a few and the totem poles are similar....

It looks like elements of a Maori marae (meeting place) and pa (fortified village). The tower in the back right corner looks like a fighting platform, the poles at the corners had images of the ancestors of the tribe (I think).
