However, Oliver, if you ever do decide to do a whaleback, the Ericsson is an excellent choice. With better luck she would still be with us today, but the preservation effort failed. I think I have the same drawings you have, and significant info and maybe original ship yard drawings are available, either in Duluth or at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She was well photograped also.

I agree, a whaleback would be something very interesting to do - full-hull, of course. Consider this: if every member of the forum would send me only $50 a month I could retire and work on this stuff all day long. Y'all would get your models that much quicker! C'mon, isn't that worth it? What's fifty bucks!
