I have the Verlinden LockOn n.5 and I scanned a page with detail of the main landing gear wheel well. You can PM if you are interested.
I found also good pics at the Airstrip - Prime Portal. Here two examples. http://data3.primeportal.net/hangar/...1_28_of_88.jpg http://data3.primeportal.net/hangar/...0_63_of_69.jpg I hope this could help. Best, Nando

I can also help to identify most of these components.
For example, in the first pic, on the speed brake actuator, there is a small red "collar". That is a lock to keep the speed brake from drooping after engine shutdown. In the second picture, that is a maintenance "collar", put on the actuator to keep the speed brake from closing when hydraulic pressure in on the system.

I'll be going to the local museum tomorrow. I had a few pics saved from previous visits, but none of the gear well.

I went out to the local museum today and crawled on the ground for 20 minutes trying to get a shot from every angle of the gear wells. I have a folder of pics. Let me know how you would like them.
I could try uploading them to photobucket as a folder if you can open them. |
