I was thinking of a stylized version of Boris Karloff's Frankenstein Monster. But Herman Munster is exactly that. Good answer!

Gort Final (I think)

So, I thought the silver acrylic paint made it look like he was covered in duct tape, so I sprayed a coat of aluminum spray paint on it. Boy, it is definitely aluminum looking! Now it looks like he is covered in foil... Oh well, maybe the tissue "skinning" was not the best application here There are several things I could do to "fix" it, but I kinda like this look, so I'll leave it be. Any other brave souls who build it can finish it any way they see fit.
Speaking of which, @sjsquirrel @Dave @SpaceAgent9, or anyone else who wants to edit or build it, let me know if the Pepakura file will suffice, or if you need a set of pdf files. I think I have gone as far as I personally am going to take it, and don't mind handing it off.
But anyway, I have the second helmet, with the visor open, made and covered to match, I just have to wait til tomorrow to paint it. I'll post a new video when I get the laser mounted inside

I think you've done a really good job on Gort, Cory. Like what you've done and how you did it.

Now that's silver! Maybe a tad too shiny ? Would a grey or black wash tone it down ? Still looks great though, now it looks like a silver desk ornament.

I hope this doesn't double post, but I don't see my reply from earlier.
Thanks for the words of encouragement! I did spray a mist of flat white and then took a small wire brush and brushed it down. This seemed to help quite a bit.

I made a multipage pdf file. You can find it here:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0...VZ5elRWdXNfYUE

I am on the computer for most of the day so if there are questions or you need some clarifications, let me know. I tried adding some notes, but it still may not be exactly clear.

If posting a link to a shared Google Drive folder is illegal, I apologize and can move the files elsewhere.
