You will think I'm crazy, but I'd like to see a model of the lighthouse on Morris Island, Charleston Harbor, USA. If the model works out, it might be donated to the Morris Island Restoration folks, for sale, to help fund the restoration. Could make it as a model, but also as a bank. Just a thought.

Ok, so Im doing some ships for the awesome "taffy III" of the battle of samar.
Already started the Gambier Bay and Uss Heermann, and even planning to do the Uss Hoel and the heroic Uss Johnston
(the destroyer who fought like a battlecruiser).

BUT there is NO model of the escorts destroyers! the so called Buttler class destroyer. I've been looking everywere for something from the DE class.
help me with this or atleast point me in the right derection to find one.

Here are a couple of places that might help. You could contact the people and see if they can help.

USS Butler model

Blueprints - Ships > Destroyers (US) some WWII DE's at bottom of that page and at the top of the next one.

great thanks! Ohh, I forgot. I'm concentrating on the 1/200 scale.
and here is a link to the Uss John C. Butler that the class is named after:

Ohh, wait! I found one. The Uss Jaccard from the "USS Jaccard DE-355 IJN Matsu" kit from Fly model is a Butler class destroyer :D

I'm of to the shop to find a kit and continuing my quest of taffyIII

How about a model of the Royal Caribbean cruise liner, Voyager of the Seas? This was the cruise that my wife and I went on on our 10 year anniversary. It would be great to have a paper model of her.

Here is a site that has some great pictures.
