The Magellan Venus is available at the Lower Hudson Valley Challenger Center and now also posted in the downloads here. Any interest in posting the rest here as well (Mars Recon Orbiter; Simpler Voyager; Mars Polar Lander kit-bash to Phoenix)?

Enjoyed this thread. I've got several things I want to put together and this is a good kick in the butt to just get going. I tend to research and document everything to death when I probably should just jump in and start doing.

Documentation is important - tech and pix - but as soon as you have a decent 3-view and some basic measurements you can put the carcase together. After that, it's just a matter of adding detail to get the effect you want (kids' project - desk model - or competition ready [I lean toward the low end]).

The sooner you get started, the sooner ... you get started.
