Thanks for the kind comments! Maybe, I'll continue on with the hands, finish the face and painting, then make a decision on the jacket. If I weather it some, I probably wouldn't even notice the mistakes..at least cover them up before I take things back apart.

Some Handiwork
I took a "hands on" approach!
 Fingers made from rolled paper tubes. I cut V notches at the joints, then bent and glued them in place. I also fixed the problems with the jacket so, thankfully, I didn't have to make a new one.  Note he is going for the light switch...

Fantastic detail work on the hands !!
Just had a figure idea pop into my (fevered) head influenced by the 2nd pic (the completed hand). What about a Grey ? (architype alien) The colour and detail look right. Just an idea - "ok ****nuts, it's probin' time" ('Paul').
