For the laminations I'm using jumbo glue sticks from staples and then putting the part between two large boards with weight on them. For everything else I'm using the incomparable Aleene's tacky glue. On a separate topic, I'm toying with the idea of writing down how to do all of this stuff (non-trivial building and designing). I have 3-4 pages of outline so far. Would a book like that be useful? |

Instructions are always welcome. Someone who is now banned always said that if you didn't know what a model looked like put together you shouldn't bother trying to build it. At all. So, I vote for instructions! If you are already working on them?

This is one of the cleanest builds that I have seen thus far! It does not look like it is being made from paper. You are doing an OUTSTANDING JOB on this project!

In my comment above, I was referring to writing a book on non-trivial model construction and model design as a whole... not specific to the Narcissus. I know someone else had attempted something like that a few years ago, but I'd like to produce something that is polished enough to be worthy of being used for reference or as a very in-dept "how to". If I flush out my outline into full sentences and explanations, I think I have a solid 100 pages of text so far. |

A book of techniques and tips on how to construct certain difficult elements used in various models would be very useful to beginners and veterans alike. I would be very interested too. Go for it!
Ps, the Narcissus build looks awesome. Great work. |

I realized this afternoon while staring at the pictures... I got the wrong size panels on the side of the bottom engines. I pealed them off when I got home and made a new set.
