I'm not a paper model designer, but I have planned a model railroad. A different animal altogether I know but what I can tell you is making a workable well thought out plan, getting second opinions, then starting small and achieveable in a reasonable budget - works. I had to crawl before I walked and it worked.

The true S.S. France would make for a truly impressive model, likely one of the largest ocean liners from the post-war era.

As I mentioned earlier, I’m not planning to start any new projects at the moment. However, my preferred choices would be:
- The S.S. Île de France (early, pre-war version)
- One of the three German superliners from the 'Imperator-class'
- The lake ferry 'Edmund Fitzgerald'

HMV announced the SS Imperator years ago, but unfortunately that never happened when Peter Brandt passed away. Pity, such an impressive ship.

About the Project in General:
The first batch of documentation is ready. However, due to the extended design period of this model, I’ve decided to have a test model built before releasing it to the public.

A big thanks to our colleague Marco, who accepted this challenge. He is a highly skilled builder and has previously built some of the models I’ve designed. Together, we aim to identify major issues and deliver a higher-quality product.
