Hi Sharunas !
This is going to be just as amazing and beautifull as your Canberra model! As an ocean liner/passenger ship fan i'm looking forward to more! I have been following this project from the begining. Excellent work as always!

Gregg

Thank you.

Yes, the formers are prepared in DXF and also will be published in conventional manner - on pdf page.
I ve read on line that they wet (dampen with brush) check You Tube. I have not tried it yet. just the area to be bent, only the back side. Keep formed until dry.

Sharunas,

Thanks for the update. Great job!

It made me look at the Mauretania again and found the formers not in DXF...
Any chance for adding them in this file-format?
Or have I overlooked something...

Good point Martin. I've also thinking that if bend thick cardboard - it might crack. Another problem - I've lost these parts , so I will have to laser cut them again. But thanks for idea.

As far as I remember Laser cut parts are provided only with Canberra. But if you are interested, I could export Maurtania's formers into dxf. However it would be up to you to prepare those for laser cutting (remove text, doted lines and et.) If you are interested - write me PM.

Thank you colleagues!

Slowly, but moving forward with Michelangelo build.
Everyone wondered how Michelangelo's stacks might look like as those had some unique form. So here's the result.

Had to re-cut parts because lost previous ones during moving. Also, at the same time ordered to cut small parts for lifeboat hoists.
It was a bit challenge to bent those fragile parts, but the process was rather manageable.
Final design of stacks will be without those horizontal spikes - those appeared to be useless.
