Carnival cruise ships

Hello!

Another recent design I've completed (Almost) is the carnival Holiday, fantasy class of ship.

Both ships are currently being dismantled in turkey and India, I guess you could there tribute builds

Holiday class can be found in my drive folder: MarterairRecolours - Google Drive

Fantasy is still WIP

Great

I have been on 5 cruises of various ships on Carnival. The Pride and Glory come to mind.

I would love to build those, but need a model to be at least 3 ft ( 1 m ) long.

I would like to try the carnival pride, maybe after P&Os Adonia,

3ft might be challenging

I think you can do it. Most of the work will be the internal structure. The external is still the same at any scale as long as it is clear and crisp . So just scaling it up will no do.

Also,

Models that big can be proudly displayed later on and be a good conversation piece.

Cool Carnival ships

On a cruise I did on the Carnival Fascination out of Puerto Rico before the hurricane hit them,

they had some big commercial models in a display case.

Ill put that on me list,
the structure "should" be easy, due to the boxy design, ill give it a try, see how it goes

Most cruise ships are relatively easy since the walls of the hull and structure are all 2 dimensional . Even the distinctive smoke stacks are simple 2D surfaces which would lend to paper construction.

Good luck and thanks for your consideration.
