Mini-Lunar Landing Training Vehicle (LLTV)

I made a mini, low poly LLTV. This is the first version prototype. It's about 5 inches long and took a couple days to design, and about four hours to build. I plan on making the next version a little bit bigger. I kinda flubbed the jet intake, hopefully the bigger version will look better.

This is one of those 'How come no one else has done one of these?' models

Excellent choice

Had to Google LLTV, as I have never seen this vehicle before.
With the correct shell around it, it could be a 'Captain Scarlet' / 'UFO' moon hopper 😊

Were you going to try rigging up an RC helicopter in this?

My thoughts exactly. Although I didn't specifically search for a previous model, I haven't run a cross one yet.

Ha, ha, thanks! Neil Armstrong had to eject from one, and it fricking blew to pieces when it crashed, very shortly thereafter. I read there is only one left in existence, and it's in a museum somewhere.

I believe the remaining test vehicle is here in California. A PBS reporter/host did a program about the LLTV and talked with some of the test pilots.

Thanks! And you can. I'm putting the finishing touches on ver2 right now
If it builds out properly, I'll upload the files tomorrow afternoon sometime. Just in time for the weekend!
