Hello gents,

Sorry guys that I haven't been here for a while - that's because of my family commitments and the heavy flu I got, but slowly I am getting better.

Anyway, the Sabre project isn't abandoned.

So far I could get the wing tip shape correct.
According to the scale drawings I got, it is more round, but the photos comparison shows they aren't like that.

kind regards

Cybermac

You have lots of things going on in your life, so totally understand. Your design work on this bird is excellent. You do what you can, when you can Mac.

Hello gents,

Sorry that I haven't been here for a while but I am having some family things and health problems which put me into the bed for couple of days with inhalers and antibiotics. Anyway, it takes a bit of time but I am recovering

With regards to the project, I managed to draw a small cross-sections for a wingtip.
I am not sure if this is really necessary, but I want to design this wingtip as it should be.

By the way, whever possible I am doing the research on 'Air war over Korea' and I am looking for the documentation for the next possible 'korean' project like F-84G, MiG-15bis, F9F Panther.

kind regards

Cybermac

This is a pretty cool project you've got yourself working on. I like how clean it is. Is this one currently a prototype? do you plan on printing this on metallic paper?

Hello gents,

Mor54 - thank you for you kind words.

T haf - Yes, this is a prototype. I am planning couple of different versions and obviously the 'silver ones' from Korean War are among them. I already got loads of silvered cardboard but need to get a laser printer as well.

kind regards

Smile tip, tip, tip...

Hello gets,

Because I was dealing with a wing tip 1st time it took me a long time, but I hope the final result is going to benefit from that.

Please see the pictiue below - the red dotted line which shows the shape of the wing tip from the top view.

Soon I should be able to put it all together with a wing so we can see how it looks in a reality.

kind regards

Cybermac
