Hello gents,
White cardboard A4 sheets, scissors and glue are those type of 'goods' which never run out from my special stash  However, very recently, I had a bit of problem with non-genuine glue and it goes back to it's seller ASAP.  Anyway, back to the subject... I managed to draw a connection part which joins the nose segments/parts of F-86. It is going to give some support there as well. Because for now I need to leave the air intake duct I have experimented with various types of gradient to add 'some depth effect' onto the very first cross section. Jim G - I am really glad that you like my weekly updates and the progress on F-86 Sabre. Thank you for your kind words! Usually I can spend about 3-5 hours within a week directly on a project. It is far too less compared to what I would like to achieve, but seems to be good enough to keep you gents updated on a weekly basis. Next step is to glue them front bits all together and finish the design of exhaust segment. Kind regards Cybermac

The nose
Hello gents,
After a really busy week I just managed to print and glue the front bits all together By the way, I just recently noticed that there are two different shapes of exhaust cross section of Sabre. Versions A, E and all Canadairs got the oval egg shape cross section and all versions F with CAC Sabres got that shape flattened on the top. All together it means that there is going to be more research to be done to get them both versions designed correctly. kind regards Cybermac

Hello gents,
Gary - I am glad you like it, thank you for your kind words! Now a bit of weekly update: I managed to get the airfoils done (9.0% at root and 8.1% at the tip of the wing, lifted by 1 degree). Also for a couple of hours I had a real battle with the shape of the wing to get the 35.0-degree angle at the 25% of the cord of airfoil. That was a bit of a tricky thing because the wing got 6+3 inches extension (so-called '6-3 hard wing). kind regards Cybermac

...wing 2nd part
Hello gents,
I had a bit of a challenging week, so I couldn't do almost anything on a project. (my little son was 3 days sick after his vaccination and that put all of the routines including sleep upside down )Anyway, just now I managed to develop the main shape of the wing. The shape looks very simple, but to get it done with all of the dimensions and angles wasn't easy, especially because I am designing the wing for the very first time in a 'digital way' Altogether I am getting a new experience and I am sure that the U-2A/D project will benefit from that quite soon. kind regards Cybermac

Canopy
Hello gents,
