Another Red Bull Sea Vixen repaint Test Build!

yes, we already have one test build of this Red Bull Sea Vixen underway.
Please let me explain...

This was a fairly complicated repaint (the Red Bull Sponsorship Livery)
and required a test build to verify all the Graphics and Logo alignments.

Since I was ready to make final adjustments, ready to prepare a Display Stand, anxious to get it into the ecardmodel store, and in need of moving on to another repaint...
I requested a fairly "quick" build of this kit.

I was lucky enough to get a proven and very experienced builder (PonyTail) to offer to build this kit.

But unfortunately, as with many things, life gets in the way!
And as a result of other responsibilities, PonyTail has not had the time to devote solely to this model
and has not been able to keep up with the pace I was hoping for in this build.
I can only demand so much...and Pony is only human!

So...I hope he continues with the excellent build and provides us with the rest of the process when he can.
In the meantime, I am putting out another request for someone to test build this kit.

heres the deal:
I need a "fast" build (maybe 2 weeks tops?)
No Landing Gear is necessary.
Since we already have another detailed build, I don't need photos of every stage.
A couple of nice display photos of the completed model (at the end) if possible.
Main purpose is confirmation of all repaint artwork.

I would also like to supply a test Display stand for use with the completed model. (again, a test fit and a couple of photos)
...I'll deal with that at the completion of the build.

Anyone up for a "speedy" build??

if you think you can commit to this project for the next couple of weeks
and want to give it a try...PM me and let me know.

(Note: this is a "medium" to "difficult" build, probably not advisable for a beginner level builder)

Keep in mind this builder will not have to deal with the issues that Ponytail dug up for us so it will hopefully be easier

new updates and new repairs posted!
Pony, I can send you the update page if you want to swap out the parts?

Along with necessary repaint adjustments
there is also a totally redesigned photo-realistic canopy (and navigator canopy)
and two alternate canopies!
I have also included some Cockpit elements (using actual sea Vixen cockpit photographs
for those daring enough to adapt a clear or open canopy, and scratch build a cockpit!

(and I believe I already mentioned the Wheel well inserts for those who build it gear down.)

Offer still stands for anyone who would like to try this kit for free.
Complete with all the adjustments! LOL

But as I said, it is on the agreement that its a "quick" build.
Maybe 2 weeks max?
All for the purpose of some store display photos
and to test out a new Display stand idea.

Its the speedy build request, isn't it?...I understand.
Its hard to find the time in everyone's busy schedules these days!

but thats okay...
Pony has finished the beta build
and I am tweaking the last few items on the model.

Watch for his photos of the completed Sea Vixen
and hopefully I can get this plane into Chris' store asap!

I am just waiting for Pony to post his final pics.
Maybe he will be able to provide us with the final photos we need.

He may also be able to test out the new "stand".

As soon as I know where we stand, I will let you know.

Just a final update....

since we got Pony's build finished, there isn't too much need for this extra "test" build.
The final Sea Vixen models are in the shop (ecardmodels.com)
