yup, Chris G contacted him.
I guess all is well.
I just don't know when and if he will get back to this project.
Time will tell.

Great to hear you're okay again Kooklik,

For those following the saga of UP Big Boy #4014, it's extraction from the museum in Pomona, California was successful. In early May it was rolled over 1000 miles, with lots of fanfare along the way, from there to it's permanent home at the Union Pacific Steam Shop in Cheyenne, Wyoming where it will undergo complete restoration over the next few years.

Many times I have been asking Kooklik where can I get or buy plans for this model, does any of you know? If the modeler from the German forum is making it, there must be some sort of design out there.

Same goes for Kooklik's U-boot type 7.

These designs are wonderful models, it would be great to try to make them.

Best regards,
Adam.

You can get Kooklik's sub model at "ecardmodels.com". The model build of the Big Boy on the German site "Kartonbau" is a beta test of the finished model. At least, thats how I understand it.
