Architectural plan sources?
Hello all:
In regards to designing paper models for architecture... I wonder if anyone has any good resources for plan views or drawings of old buildings. I haven't been too successful in locating these sorts of things. For example, I just returned from a trip to Portugal where we found tons of lovely old buildings, moorish castles, monuments, cathedrals, etc. (the Pombal Castle is a specific example- 11th century and not too huge) I'd love to design some models to use with my laser engraver. can anyone suggest a favorite book or two for this kind of reference material? Thanks BG |

As for the Portuguese castles, my friend has the same problem. He had been asked to make a 3D computer model of a Templars' castle in Tomar. As far as I remember he finally travelled to Tomar in person and collected the photographs.
