New models from Gerry Paper Models

After a multitude of aircraft from both world wars, it's time to look to the present again.
First of all, I have prepared for you a contemporary Western European thoroughbred, the multirole Eurofighter Typhoon in eight colour versions:

- Eurofighter Typhoon S (Aeronautica Militare, 9° Gruppo Caccia, 4º Stormo, Grosseto AB, 2009)

All models have added basic armament, i.e. 2x 1000 l tank, 6x BVRAAM Meteor and 4x ASRAAM missiles.

Wonderful. I had the pleasure of twice seeing (and hearing) an RAF Typhoon at an airshow and climbing on full afterburner was possibly the loudest thing I have ever heard. This year (2024) it was painted with D-Day invasion stripes to mark the anniversary.

As always, each model includes a matching set of fuel tanks and anti-ship, anti-aircraft and anti-surface weapons.

It's time for me to introduce the announced new line. I have called it "In the service of the Axis" and you will understand that it will be about the WWII aircraft of Germany, and Italy, but also Hungary and perhaps other countries.
The first one is a heavy fighter nicknamed Hornisse, the Me-410. When I prepared the vectors for colorization, I had another crazy idea. No one is making an unsuccessful predecessor of the Me-210 yet. So I gave it a try. I took a model of the Me-410 and painted new wings based on the plan. That gave me a fairly successful Hungarian version of the Me-210Ca-1. But I didn't stop there, I shortened the rear fuselage to scale and got the unsuccessful Me-210A.
And that's the first one I'm going to introduce to you. There are two ready to go.

Looks promising. Amazingly there are no models of the Heinkel 111 or Dornier 17 on Ecards right now, so if you can come up with some designs or repaints of those types you have at least one sale right away. I am quite sure Bruno released these in the past.

Bruno released a He 111 from the older series. It was a basic dk green green, no landing gear but ripe for improvements/recolors. Not sure about the flying pencil though.
