Thanks for the warm reception guys

Been a long time since I modeled anything so making another 3d model to refresh my memory, slowly coming back to me.

Going to finish modeling this one then get back on the '69 Camaro and hopefully will have some fresh ideas by then I can apply to that model.

Currently my project will be a 2013 Camaro, getting the basic shapes laid out then will go back and tweak the form, over and over..ad infinitum
Haven't decided what level of detail I will go with this one. Possibly the same as the '69...

Is this going to be a COPO Camaro? That's a mighty big hood scoop.

Not a COPO but what I plan on doing with my Camaro more than anything. The hood scoop i'm going with has a 3" rise so I may need to bring it down on the model some now that you mention it. I will be putting in an aluminum 427 into my Camaro when the warranty expires, already got the go ahead from the wife
Gonna need that hood clearance when that happens.

Grizley, good to see you back, man! I love the 5th gen Camaro and am envious of the fact that you actually have one. Very awesome! Even more awesome is the fact that you're making a model of it. I swear there are not enough paper models out there of the 5th gen Camaro. I only know of Skip's bumblebee camaro but even that one is based on the concept design, not the final production model.

I'm rooting for you to finish this model and the '69 that you are still working on. Even if you just make small bits of progress a day, keep going! They will be awesome and well appreciated when you're done!

If you need any help, let us know!

Btw, I'd really like to see papermodels of the ZL1 and the new Z/28. A guy can dream, right?

Thanks loudog49

I plan on changing the front end to the ZL1 style on the model actually, just modeling according to my blueprints right now. When I get the basic shape laid out I'll go back and modify the front bumper to the ZL1. I am putting the ZL1 bumper on my Camaro here soon actually, have it sitting in my bedroom, just ordered the new harness I need to get the drl and fogs working correctly, just need that and paint. Got some 22's waiting on tires, 22x9 up front and 22x11 in back

The Z28 I more than likely wont do, but with the base model it probably wouldn't be hard to modify into a Z if the builder wanted to...

Progress for today, getting there slowly but surely.
