I learned four decades ago that if "carefully managed" the copyright can be worth more than the model it's self... I sold my first copyright to Lou Dausse and PMI in 1982...

As a designer, in my personal opinion, If you are not "leveraging" your copyrights then you are only realizing "half of your potential" as quite frankly, just the copyright alone can be worth far more than "realized" model sales and it only takes ONE "sale" or "Licensing" to do it...

You then "wipe your hands clean" and it then becomes "somebody else's headache"....

I also learned over the decades that it is much easier to sell "boxes of 100" than selling each individually. (That's my game)

If you are not doing that, then you may be "selling them in the wrong place"... (IMHO)

I personally have found that the greatest potential can be realized if offered as "promotional tools" as for that, they are VERY effective and VERY highly sought after...

That's my "primary market" and I intend to "capitalize on it"...

Under every video is a "download" button.
Hit it.
And you will see that you are required to have a Premium account, as I said, to download a video.
And even then, if a youtuber wants to deny you access, I'm sure they can.

I tried to download one of my own videos, on my own channel, while logged into my (basic) account...and couldn't.
And I was never asked if I wanted to restrict access to my videos (when I uploaded it).
Picture proof.

And the name is Mister Airwave, to you.

There is a download button yes, but there are also LEGAL download software, some free with limitations and some not free (they cost money, not cheap) to download ANY video, not only from YouTube but from almost any video available on the web. You missed this point.

There are "legal" lockpicking sets available to the public.
You can buy one.

And so, you think, that makes it "legal" to pick any lock?

I give up. Its like trying to educate a bowl of Jello.
