Inkscape Blurr tool problem
I have a problem with the Blurr tool in Inkscape, when I save the work in PDF the Blurr effect disappears. I thought it was due to lack of RAM but I already expanded it, I have version 9.2 of Inkscape and Windows 8.5. Any clue what is happening? Thanks in advance for your help. ![]() |

Did you set the DPI on save as PDF?

In Inkscape 1.1 you 'save as' pdf and a form pops up asking if you want to rasterize filter effects and you can set the necessary resolution (dpi). If you decline you'll lose the blur. If you accept the blur is preserved in the resulting pdf.

Just an aside, I have found that when I publish to PDF in Corel, sometimes it doesn't play well with fonts. To solve this I convert the page to a bitmap, usually png or jpg, then publish to PDF. This works extremely well.

Yes, and no, sometimes you just don't want to let people have the ability to break the PDF apart. You can convert all fonts to curves when publishing to PDF in Corel. (I really didn't know this, 'cause I don't do it very often).
